Welcome to the home of the University of Rio Grande Pre-Professional Advisory Committee (PPAC). The goal of the Committee is to provide Rio Grande students with information that is necessary to prepare for post-baccalaureate graduate and professional school training.

The mission of the University of Rio Grande Pre-Professional Advisory Committee is:
- to function as a qualifying body to evaluate all applicants interested in the Pre-Medical Studies internship program;
- to function as an interpreter and generator of facutly recommendations for a student's admission to a graduate professional school.
Information and Forms
PPAC Recommendation Request Instructions - This provides information regarding the process of requesting a recommendation from the PPAC.
PPAC Recommendation Application - This is the form that must be completed when requesting a recommendation from the PPAC. While many of these professional or graduate programs do not require a committee recommendation, the PPAC uses this information to track students who are pursuing these preparation tracks. All students who are preparing for one of these post-baccalaureate programs should submit an Application.
Consent Form - This form must be filled out by every student requesting a recommendation letter from the PPAC or from a URG faculty member. The letter can provide consent for the PPAC, if requesting a committee letter, or for individual URG faculty members, if requesting faculty letters.
Liability Waiver - This form must be filled out by every student requesting a recommendation letter from the PPAC.
Faculty Evaluation Form - This form is to be distributed to four URG faculty members. The form should be returned to the PPAC along with a letter of recommendation addressed to the PPAC.
Practice Tests - The website TestPrepPractice.net claims to provide free practice tests and tutorials for a variety of admissions tests, including the DAT, GRE, MCAT, OAT, and PCAT.
