Davis Library offers traditional Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services to its users, including faculty, staff, students and community members who live within the four-county community college district. For students, faculty and staff, traditional ILL supplements OhioLINK's online patron borrowing services. There are times, however, when books and articles are not available through OhioLINK. ILL services can reach beyond the State of Ohio to participating libraries across the nation and even the world thus increasing the chance of locating desired materials. Since community members are ineligible to order books through OhioLINK, ILL allows them access to books and articles that are not otherwise available at Davis Library.
The links above provide access to online forms that can be submitted directly to Davis Library's ILL service. Users should expect materials ordered through ILL to arrive within 10 business days. Materials can be picked up at the Circulation Desk on the main floor. Because these materials are being lent by a wide variety of institutions, due dates will vary as will the ability to renew items. Some libraries may even levy a charge for lending materials, so users should make sure to indicate on each ILL form their willingness to pay a borrowing fee or whether they will only accept materials from lenders free-of-charge.
