The mission of the Friends of the Davis Library is to enrich the cultural, social, and intellectual life of the University of Rio Grande and Rio Grande Community College as well as the community-at-large. Its membership extends beyond the campus community and is open to anyone who is interested in helping the organization fulfill its goals.

The group engages in a variety of activities—including fundraising—that are designed to stimulate the use and growth of the Library’s collections and services. By supporting a wide range of activities, programs and outreach efforts, this volunteer organization seeks to promote the Jeanette Albiez Davis Library’s significance and value both on and off campus.
