Any enrolled student can request a tutor. Tutors are available to work with students in many subject areas including math, writing and reading. In writing, the tutor can help with any stage of the writing process from developing ideas to editing and revising essay assignments, research papers, resumes, and others. Math tutors can assist students with basic mathematics concepts or more difficult mathematics problems like those in discrete mathematics. Some of these tutors also assist students with accounting, biology, chemistry, and physics.
To schedule an appointment contact Jenkins Center staff by telephone, email, or simply stop in Rhodes Student Center rooms 101 or 110 to request help. The open lab in Jenkins Center gives the student an opportunity to learn in a quiet environment with available academic support. For those students that like to work online, eTutoring is available. Students with questions may e-mail Gary Lesko at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 740.245.7333.
