Scholarships

The University of Rio Grande awards 1 (one) 4-year Full Tuition Scholarship and 2 (two) 4-year Partial Tuition Scholarships to incoming Music majors each year. These scholarships are awarded based upon an audition in front of the Rio Music faculty. These auditions are normally held in the late winter/early Spring.

For 2013, the Rio Music Department will be holding scholarship auditions on Saturday, February 16th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and on Thursday, March 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Other times may be scheduled by appointment if students are unable to attend either of those dates. Students will need to contact the Music Department Coordinator to schedule a time, and will need to have the scholarship application filled out to submit at their audition. Please read all of the requirements for their particular voice or instrument.
