WHAT IS THE SAA?

The Student Alumni Association (SAA) membership is available to all current Rio students. The SAA is a student organization on campus that enhances the student experience.

Membership provides valuable benefits, services, and opportunities for students to interact with Rio alumni – all while having a whole lot of fun. SAA membership is a precursor to a future Rio Grande Alumni Association membership.

HOW CAN I APPLY?

We are currently seeking students who are interested in being involved on campus through the Alumni Office, located in the Berry Center. Applicants should be dependable, self-motivated, adaptable, willing to learn, and eager to network with their fellow students and alumni. An application is required, and interviews may be conducted by the Office of Institutional Advancement. There is no fee to become a member. 

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

In addition to networking, as a SAA member you will have numerous opportunities to work alongside the Alumni Council on several events throughout the year including Alumni Awards, Alumni/Student Mixer, Commencement Breakfast, Homecoming, and more! You will be recognized at each as a SAA member.

You will be a staple on campus and work within the organization to recruit new membership, keep history and tradition alive on campus, and network through philanthropy opportunities and events.
