Earn College Credit for Your Life Experiential Learning

If you have a lot of knowledge and practical experience in your field but no degree to show for it, life experience credits may give you some of the recognition you deserve. Designed for the post-traditional student wishing to earn credit for life experiential learning. Students will identify skills, knowledge, and values gained from their experiences and training and equate this learning to college-level courses via completion of a portfolio.

You can begin this process by registering for the LA 20103 Prior Learning Assessment class.  It is recommended that you take this course at the beginning of your studies so you can determine what classes you may not need to complete.
